How much does EV charger installation cost?

Most home installations run between $1,800 and $3,500. The final price depends on the type of charger, how far your parking spot is from the electrical panel, and how much room your panel has for a new circuit. Send us a photo of your panel and garage and we'll give you an upfront quote.

Level 2 or a NEMA 14-50 outlet?

A hardwired charger is generally more robust and can charge faster. An outlet adds flexibility. We'll recommend one based on your car and panel.

Can I get a quote without a visit?

Yes. Upload photos of your panel and parking spot on our quote form.

Do you install chargers I already bought?

Yes, as long as the charger is UL-listed.

What areas do you serve?

Barrington and Chicago's NW suburbs. See our service areas page.

Is the federal tax credit still available?

No. The federal 30C credit for home chargers applied only to equipment placed in service through June 30, 2026. Installs after that date do not qualify.
